Modifying any car that much always brings about a good possibility of trouble - it's all part of the game. You need a little good luck when you build cars. If you want to avoid problems like you experienced, I'd advise getting out of the high performance car scene altogether. It's not just a Mitsu thing, it's a car thing. I've seen it happen to all types of car owners.

uhhh.. nevermind i thought that 2nd pic of the engine bay was of the white gsx for some reason. I honestly don't even know what I was thinking at the time... LOL

I absolutely don't blame DSM's or cite lack of quality at all. I actually enjoyed the car. Nothing is fun when it's easy after all.

One day when I'm pretty comfortable economically, I hope to buy another one and do work.

I wrecked my 3G when I was 16.
 
I used to have a 3KGT VR4 and got almost the same problems.. I eventually sold it, and bought an Audi. It was then, when I missed my Mitsubishi"s, so I sold my Audi and bought me a GSX 2G.. HAHAHA, I love it. You'll come back LOL

Everyone always come back. Even if they don't, they'll reminisce every time they see one and relive the glory days and realize what a shit bucket they're driving right now.
 
its funny how my last post on this forum was in this thread back in 2007. since then i got out of dsm's... but now im back with a csm and a dsm...its like theres no way out..

but i am getting out of the dsm game for a while. i just cant afford to keep paying for my car to break a few weeks later. i had so big of goals with my car but i guess its over now. i put all of my brand new parts up for sale and all of my dsm's. i have to get me a reliable car for a while. i was hoping to send my motor off this month to a machine shop to have the new .040 weiscos in but i ran into other problems so its all got to go.

i might keep my 1g n/t eclipse since it runs fine but im not sure yet.

whats a good reliable car i should get?

dam i loved my awd talons so much.
 
I'd like to have a Acura TL, or a Lincoln LS. Both very nice cars. Lincoln is VERY cheap for what it is.
 
yeah well right now i got nothing for money since all of my stuff hasnt been selling so i dont have much for a car. not alot of people want to buy aftermarket parts at this time.
 
This is my car for now. I miss my Talon but this isn't too bad, right hand was really weird getting used to at first, but now it's fine.
Obviously I don't have a DSM anymore so I don't jump on this forum too much but I really miss it, so I thought I'd show you guys a few pictures of the new car.

Wut's up guys! I haven't been posting here since forever. My '91 Talon Tsi AWD has been gone since 2004 in NJ and I have moved on to other things and so on. I'm sure there are lots of new faces here and maybe some will still recognize me or my old car atleast. :)
