From what I've gathered, plenty of people are getting around 15mpg. I needed a larger car due to getting kids in the near future but I didn't want to give up my love for performance. And the SRT-10 was the next best thing. Gas mileage isn't that big of a deal. I still have my bike to ride. Thanks for the good input.

P.S. It WILL get get some sort of forced induction.

not downing it, (i am a mopar fan besides dsms) but with todays economy, gas prices, thats not as cheap as it seems. the cost of repairs are horrible.plus, look at the prices of new trucks that are domestic, and see that they cant even give them away. dodge , case in point: now offered in 2008 trucks, they all come with a LIFETIME warrany on the entire drive train. if you wanted a real mopr, should of bought a 70-71 383,440, or even a hemi cuda. nice truck nonetheless

Thats a lie cause the worst gas mileage vehicle in that year was the Lamborghini and that was something along the lines of 8 miles in town and 11 or 12 hwy.

For your info I just looked it up and its 9 city and 12 highway (ESTIMATE) dodge claims....Don't forget Matt This truck weights MORE than a lambo hahahaha . Also the Factory Estimates are usually OVER estimated. The way I drive...I would get 5 and 9 TRUST ME.

I was thinking about the gas mileage comments after my last post and I came up with this. 99.8% of the guys on here want a 450-500hp DSM monster that will get like 10 mpg. It's what all dsmers want, so why do you warn me about gas prices yet praise anyone who reaches the 400-500hp range??? Just a thought

Well a Turbo car can be driven off boost so you're not always using as much fuel. I'm not raggin on your truck...I love Dodge's. I was just making a point that they are not the best on fuel. Hence the reason you were able to get it so cheap! Im not knocking it. I wish I had the money for one of those.

My last post I was just defending the fact that some kid called me a liar?!?!?!

I know that this truck among other performance cars (GTO) actually had a GAS GUZZLER Tax on them when they were new. $1000 dolllars extra you had to pay just cause they suck too much gas.

PLUS, you cant say that you can get a vehicle to get 5 mpg because of the way you drive? Why would any dealership put those type ratings on a car?

And to just top off my point about being able to just say you were wrong in the first place, here ya go.

AND, those arent "beating it" ratings... I bet I could get a Lambo's mpg's down to 1 mpg if I tried too, then when I go to sell it Im going to post the 1 mpg rating... Small print will say at "220 mph".
