Quiet BOV

Evo VIII and IX valves are great upgrades to the 2G stocker. Most prefer the IX valve because of it's all-metal construction (like a 1G BOV).

The stock BOV and the evo BOV should be connected the same way. Vaccuum line goes to the intake manifold. Recirculation tube goes back into the intake pipe.

What I mean is on the stock bov from the evo8 it doesn't look like there is a little vacuum line nipple to connect to on it?

I have a Greddy type RZ and I'm running it recirculated. You can't hear it at all when it's recirculated but when it's vented it's ridiculously loud. I'm going super sleeper, I'm getting an RS badge for the back of my car.

I found some stock evo 8 bov sounds on youtube. I just need to know how the vacuum line hooks up.

Maybe the picture is just a different angle, I think there is a nipple on the stock evo 8 bov's?

Ok sweet deal, yeah he just emailed me and told me it had a nipple on it too. So is this a fair trade straight up for mine?

So I was looking on the Buscher (SP?) website on upgrading...It said to get rid of the 2g bov because it's plastic, does this mean the evo VIII one will break on me easily?

I was looking at my vented pos bov today and come to discover that when my car is on the bov sucks in air from the vent....I AM getting rid of it as soon as i get the evo8 bov. I don't think this is normal?

I know its common on the stock 1g.
