Im getting full 3" exhaust and downpipe installed today. I was going to do it myself but have read of people breaking bolts on the DP and didnt want to risk that.

My question is, when I get the car back, how accessible will the rear o2 sensor be? I am going to do something to it to prevent CEL due to cat deletion. Can I just crawl under there and unscrew it? Or should I go up to the shop while they have it lifted up and before installing the o2 sensor?

Depends what exhaust you bought..I insalled mine myself....Those bolts didnt stand a chance against an impact.

On my megan Dp..The bung for the o2 is on the top, by where the DP would bolt to the cat..It would be easier to install the o2 before the Dp is totally bolted on.

So if you look at your bung, you should be able to determine, if you can put it in before they put on exhaust..Or you do it when you get home.

LOL, "Look at your bung". hehe

OP, why not just do it yourself, use some PB blaster or something similar and heat the nuts with a little torch if needed. Overall it will be cheaper.

And if you don't want to, I would just ask the shop to install the sensor.

You can crawl under there and get to it. I did it with mine when I installed my exhaust myself and I just have ramps I don't even have a jack.

Who said you can't install the exhaust yourself? I did it with just ramps and basic tools and I had no idea what I was doing... It's pretty obvious where everything goes and you only have to undo 2 bolts and all the rubber hooks. Then your entire exhaust will drop straight to the concrete and wake up your neighbors at 2am... haha.
