Quick UICP question

i am about to buy this Buschur upper intercooler pipe from this kid near me. its the 1G Buschur upper intercooler pipe with a 1G flange. will this fit on my 2G? ...thanks in advance for the help!

and i did search. i heard a few things about the fuse box in the way and slightly diff bend, but nothing for sure.

If he's near you I'd suggest just bringing your 2g and at least putting it over the top of your engine and just visually checking. I know for a fact the 2g Bushur UICP barely fits. You need to angle it the right way to fit with everything (fusebox/connections/metal holder near the battery) so my guess is the 1g pipe is the same, so I wouldn't see it fitting correctly (https://secure.buschurracing.com/ca...d=405&osCsid=d7ae152b30fa6dafbe9238b44f37b29a)

yea i would have done that, but the car isnt back together yet. but he ended up just giving it to me for really cheap and i think i can make it work. we'll see. thanks

If that fails, I actually went with EBAY *junk* for this (SSAutochrome)... It has worked out nicely.

hmmm. well thanks for the badass pics. it looks just like the blue pipe in the picture of the 1g. i already held it up to my car and it seems i could make it work with couplers and another maybe 45* bend. only thing that makes it a pain is the way it fits because the BOV flange is facing the opposite direction. if i could just rotate it. maybe ill cut it out, spin it, and weld it back in. but then it would look crappy. idk yet. ill take pics when im done tho. let me just see what i can come up with.
