Quick stupid question about 1g struts

Is there a difference between rear shocks on a 1g FWD turbo and a 1g AWD turbo?

And if so does anyone know a place online that sells cheap rear struts for a 1g AWD turbo?

The reason I ask this is because I have ordered 2 sets of rear struts for my car and both times they don't fit and look slightly different than the struts I have on my car. They look alot more similar to my friends 1g FWD struts.

So no one can tell me if 1G FWD and RWD struts are different?

the fronts are the same for fwd and awd. the rears are different.
