Yep, Ohio
Just between you and I... what is offset when refering to wheels?

I am looking to buy some Rota Subzeros for my 99. I've read people having a problem with the wheels rubbing and such, even with 225s. The offset was like 45 and they said because the offset was 45 it was rubbing and a 42 would be better.

ANyway, what's the 45 refer to?

Thanks for the link... I already knew that. Doh! :shhh:

With my 99, I ordered some coilovers so I am not sure if the wheels will still fit okay. I guess the only way to know for sure is to try them out

No, that’s not the only way.

You have a better probability of getting wheels and tires that fit if you educate yourself a bit and then ask and semi-educated question. What you don’t want is one of us telling you what wheels and tire to buy. You need to decide what your goals are, make the best decision you can about the wheels and tires that meet those goals, and then double check your choice by posting it. Someone here can then tell you with a high degree of certainty if it will fit or not, or suggest changes.

Hint 1: If you have to ask “what’s offset?” you’re not ready yet.
Hint 2: You need to state all the applicable variables; Wheel diameter, wheel width, wheel offset, tire size, tire brand, suspension lowered or not.
Hint 3: Never post a question titled "Stupid Question."
