quick respons plz turbo shaft play

i was checkin shaft play on my big 16g and there is about 7-8 centemeters of side to side shft play ??????? normal its burnig alot of white smoke when it spools !!!!! bad turbo or what?

its the big 16g it might not be quite 7-8 but the inlet i would say is 2inch ?? not to sure

side to side, before you contact the walls should be less than 1 millimeter. I dont know where you would get 8 centimeters from...

Either way, thats not important... what is important is now you get to buy a new turbo!

sorry man its not like i actually mesured it but it moves a lot compare i to this line the dot being the shaft

thats about how much side to side play there is but if there is that much side play why can i hold 19 psi steady ???? is that normal? like i said the sahft moves a lot .... sorry i dont know much about turbos ..... also i pulled the heat shild off the est manifold and found 3 cracks so i gess i will be lookin on e-bay for the evo est manifold or is it better to go with the 2g ported ??
