2G Quick release steering wheel with horn

im looking into buying a quick release for my 2g and wanted to see if anyone was able to wire the horn to work without cutting up the harness and leaving a live wire. I also saw that arm sells a kit that is supposed to turn the airbag light off, does this actually work?

The horn is not live its an earth setup.

Depending on the hub it might mean more work then you want with removing the clockspring and some way to get an earth to the hub,

My advice is avoid the nrg hubs, i hated installing mine
