quick iac question

when i pulled my iac i noticed there was a little + looking 'spline' that looks like it fits into something,but that something was missing.does anyone have a closer picture than the vfaq one,or can you confirm that i am missing a piece?just to recap, when i pulled my iac there was nuthing on the end of the black plastic piece that sticks into the tb,just a + imbossed into the end of that black plastic piece.

i guess the end of the black plastic part is called the pintle.here is a link to clarify what im talking about.Google Image Result for http://www.stealth316.com/images/isc_servo_new_model_2.jpg in the first pic you can see the +,its brown on this one but on my earlyer 90 model its black.

nevermind,now i see that the iac moves in and out and doesnt spin anything.
