IAC question

if i have a bad IAC does the car smoke ??? somehow when i drive the car is fine but when i come to a stop and it idels i get smoke out of the excaust and i got a PO505 Code when i checked i also had a bad O2 sensor code but i replaced that and that code is the only one that comes up right now i idle at 800 when cold and higher when warm and it's white smoke

i beleive your IAC will just mess with your idle, it should not cause smoke, the smoke is something else, IAC will just have a irregular idle, and or stall or idle high.

i second that i had a bad iac and it does not cause smoke only cel (at least in my case) and rough idle

btw i did have the same trouble code

White smoke is burning coolant from blown head gasket or turbo seals.
