IAC question

if i have a bad IAC does the car smoke ??? somehow when i drive the car is fine but when i come to a stop and it idels i get smoke out of the excaust and i got a PO505 Code when i checked i also had a bad O2 sensor code but i replaced that and that code is the only one that comes up

This might help give you some direction.

What rpm is your tachometer showing at idle? Once warmed up, you should be at 750 +/- 50 I believe. Also, what color smoke is puffing out at the end?
