So i know there are a million threads and ive been digging but i have a auto, im woundering if it would still be better to go 2.0 or 2.3 for my situation i couldnt find really anything on someone asking with a auto, tranny will be built by the same company who built jeff bushes. Im not asking the difference between the 2 at all, asking what would be better mated to a auto

2 litre's will always be better with an auto trans because the trans is gear limited with the current overdrive issues...

There are no "overdrive issues" if you don't use overdrive while in power. ha ha.

I have only played with 2.0's, but I do think a 2.3 or G4CS 2.4l could make for a nasty street car...

A lot depends on the converter and tire height. If you're going to be at 8,000-8,200 max through the traps the 2.3 will get you there without nitrous, and be more fun on the street.

Any faster and its 2.0 all the way. Some disagree, but id rather not beat on the stroker with rpms.

People seem to think that because someone runs 44psi that the car is at 44psi the whole time. When you are cruising or putting around town, the car doesn't care whether the wastegate is set at 15psi or 50psi. The motor isn't seeing full boost so whats it matter how high you max boost setting is at for a DD?

What's bad about driving a fast car everyday?

Nothing. It's about how long it will last. I'm just going off of the resource info about pros and cons of a stoker vs non stoker.just because it can be done and you are okay with it doesn't mean that everyone else will. It's all about personal preferences. I personally don't care. I have to engine set ups so, longevity isnt going my to be my issue. To each his own.
