questions on best head set up?

i know there is now best set up every one has there own opinoin, but im just not to sure what i should get in valves and springs. Im going with 1mm over and nitrated i know that, but who makes the best valves. manley, ferrea, si, and also who makes the best springs manley, crower, si, or ferrea. i have the comp 101200 cams( not in yet). and i want to make a good 400-500hp from my set up. my curint lifter are about to go so thats why im just going to rebuild her. im also in the works of building a 2.1 destroker for the head. should i use a 6 bolt head or my 2g head. and what stage port job do u think i need i live about 15 min from ams so i can get all my work done there. but i also no there machinist they use here in the chi from apexi so i no i can get the work done i just need advise on parts.

If you want to rev higher than 8800 go with SI dual springs. As far as valves IMO best on the market are Ferrea. A close second is Manley. If you are going to be doing a good deal of porting best head to go with is going to be a 7bolt. To use everything to best of it's ability you will also want a 5 angle valve job. Also remember is you do indeed go with the 7bolt head you will need to drill out the head stud bolt holes to fit the 6 bolt head studs. Hope this helps.

I went with Supertech as well for my build, and used SI valves.
