I know there a threads already but i have a few questions of my own. I found a 95 gsx for $2000 and I want to buy it to covert my 97 gst to awd. I Don't want to just sell my car. First question is why do i have to use an awd exhaust? I have a full 3 inch exhaust on my gst and i was wondering if i could just get it bent to fit? Second question is will my speedometer work if i use an awd transmission? And if anyone has ever done this swap that reads this about how long would this take?

well, i got the car today, got to lookin at it and the block has been painted blue. Idk why either, it might have been built or something but ill find that out later, anyways it has a blue fuel rail too and i was wondering how i can tell what size injectors it has? thanks

take the injectors out and take a picture and post them up. u can also try to find a picture of the stock ones on here and compare them

Starters are all the same, its the flywheel that makes all the difference.
Solely, because, the starter mounting points are different on the awd and fwd, and fwd flywheels wont fit in an awd transmission bell housing.

thank yall for the help. This is crazy i bought the car just needing the drivetrain, but i went ahead and was going to take the 7 bolt out and save it and have it built in november. But...turns out its gotta 6 bolt in it :) I guess thats pretty cool i just thought i would tell yall my find.
