Hey guys, this is the first thread I've ever posted on this forum and I know there are several other threads asking basically the same question I am, but I figured I would post one anyway. So I have a 7-bolt 2gb Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5-speed and I have been researching for several months trying to figure out the best way to upgrade my car to approximately 350 whp on pump gas. I already have a few things from a parts car that I have recently bought off of my friend to put in such as a straight-pipe exhaust with a downpipe, coilovers, a 5-speed transmission with Evo 1-3 gears, a twin disc clutch, and DSMlink v2. I have also made a list of numerous parts and modifications to do to the car in order to reach my goal such as:
Mitsubishi 20g turbo with wastegate actuator
FP race manifold
190lph fuel pump
720 cc injectors
264 intake/272 cams
3g revised lifters
VRSF intercooler

I also had a question about speed density. I know it eliminates the MAF sensor, but I was wondering how it works in place of it and the benefits of having it. Ive done research on it, but always end up confusing myself because I don't completely understand it. I was hoping that one of you could explain it maybe a little differently and it would all click. Thanks guys.

there are also a few other parts I forgot to mention, I have an uncrushed 1g BOV a dejon intake with a cone filter and I also have an AEM wideband 02 sensor... feel free to give me feedback on parts you recommend or any additional things I might need. I don't care if its positive or negative feedback as long as it helps me haha

Most skip the 190 lph and just jump to the 255 but then you need an AFPR. The other thing is your injectors are sized pretty safe for the air flow a 20g will flow but you might consider upgrading those as well for your future more hp syndrome you'll develop. No need to buy injectors twice and with tuning you can make bigger one's behave as well as the 720's. I haven't used dsmlink v2 but I sure do like v3. Ask for some peoples opinions on that because it may be worth upgrading to v3.
Look up peoples dyno slips and look at their mods also the bunch of threads you mentioned.

Speed density just predicts or just guesses what volume of air is coming into the engine. It just takes temp and pressure figures to calculate volume based on a constant known on gas properties.
