Question on Intake Cam Seal

Hey guys, I just inherited another DSM and I'm fixing some of the problems before it'll run. It's a 95 GST and its missing the Intake cam seal (see link below). Since it's a 95, it should have the CAS that is located under the intake gear.

I've checked the service manual, Chiltons, and this site but I can't find installation instructions. I probably just pop it on and call it a day but I just want to make sure there isn't a bearing or spacer that goes behind it or whether I should pack with grease.

Personally, I pull the cap, and use a thin gasket sealer between the cap and the head casting.

Lube the inner lip of the seal with oil or grease and install the seal, then the cap.

no spacer needed.

The front face of the seal should end up flush with the bevel in the cap

You're always a big help! I can't install CAPS on my computer because my laptop is 64-bit. Does anyone know the number so I can get it at the dealership instead of waiting for shipping?

Edit: No worries about the part number, I ended up ordering through STM. I'll just have to cool my jets for a week. Thanks again guys.

CAPS is obsolete, ASA replaces it. Download it free here (will install with prompts, can specify 64 bit or if not, set in 32 bit XP compatibility mode). Use "mmc-asa usa.exe" one: http://www.mitsubishilinks.com/
