420A Cam seal installation

I removed the head on my 420a with a lot of pictures to help in reassembly six months ago. The pictures were some how lost or deleted so it is going to be fun putting this thing back together. I can not get the search function to work. I am asking for camshaft seal depth. How deep do you install the camshaft seals? Flush with the front of the head or do you seat them in to the back which sets them in from the front 3-4mm?

I have always installed them flush to the outside. If memory serves right there are ports right there that you can cover up if you seat them in all the way.
