Hey, this is my first post, so go easy on me.
I'm looking to get a 91 Eclipse GSX with the following installed:
-wiseco .020 over pistons on stock (1G) rods
-lightened, knifedged crank
-clevite 77 main + rod bearings
-balancer shafts removed
-BCS restrictor removed
-silencer removed
-hacked air can
-ARP main + head studs
-MLS head gasket
-stage 3 TMO chip eprom
My question is are there any problems with this set up? He's running 11 psi of boost right now, what could this engine handle? (with proper fuel management upgrades of course) I'm looking to use this as a daily driver, so I was wondering if putting a dual stage boost controller on her (to switch between street/strip boost levels) would be appropiate? Any recommendations as far as boost levels, injector size, turbo set up, etc would be appreciated. I'd be satisfied with running 12s in the 1/4, but, if possible, I'd like to get as much power from the stock turbo as possible. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
