ok, on MachV's site they have these two different types of bushings, urethane and steel, http://www.machv.com/mavshcast.html and then looking on roadrace's site they said this about the urethane ones: "These are stiffer urethane bushings that replace the soft rubber bushings where the shifter assembly bolts to the floor. By stiffening these bushings, you can greatly increase the "feel" of the shifter. While stiffer than stock, you wont get the harsh clunky sounds that are common when the rubber is replaced with steel sleeves or if you remove the bushings all together." i may get flamed like crazy on this one but would the steel bushings give me a "click" sound every time i put the shifter in a different gear? if noone can imagine what i am saying, turn on F&F (i know that you own it :shhh: ) and look at the very beginning on that green 2G and listen when he puts it in gear...ok, that said, flame suit on

Thanks :dsm:

nope

and it sounds like you're talking about shifter plate bushings, shifter cable bushings are something different

If you don't use the clutch it may make a sound close to the one that u are thinking of, not recommmened by any means and make sure when u are hitting the NAAAAAAWS the floor board doesn't fall off.
