Question about Injen intake + HKS SSQ BOV

I have an HKS SSQ BOV that was recirculated to the stock intake now I installed an Injen intake with the dump tube and the hose I used before to recirculate wont work. The little silver insert piece that go's into the HKS is really small and the dump tube is fairly large. Would work with the Injen intake? Thanks

I would swing by Home Depot and see if you cant find some sort of PVC coupling that would work. Something like a PVC reducer to pop on the intake and reduce enough for the HK$ made kit. Worth a shot to try and would be a lot easier than hoping the ebay one would work.

The HKS recirc kit contains 2 metal adapters. 1 for the BOV and 1 for intake pipe. they are the same so it does not matter what one goes where. But the wider area of the adapter is really close to the same size as the recirc tube on the intake. just use a piece of rubber radiator hose from auto zone/ pep boys/ napa ect to get the bends you want and has the correct diameter between the 2 adapters and then a short piece of hose to connect the wide area of the adapter to the intake tube. I did the same thing when I had my HKS and Dejon intake.

I dont know if you pulled that 2nd metal adapter out of the stock intake or not, but it should be there. since the dump tube on the stock intake is the same size as the dejon/ injen, otherwise everyone would have to make adapters from the stock BOV return line to get it to fit a aftermarket intake. You should have everything you need minus the hose and clamps.

I don't even remember adding anything to the Injen for my HKS to recirc??? I just paid the extra money to have the kit with the dump welded to the intake that is an option and then i just put the stock rubber hose onto the injen and the other end onto the recirc fitting on the BOV and called it a day
