I have a 1990 Eagle talon Tsi 5 speed with a slight brake line leak from the rear passenger side. I was wondering if there is a proporting valve that cuts off the brake fuild from going to that area? The last couple times i have driven the car i have noticed it isn't leaking anymore. I have upgraded rotors that are cross drilled and slotted.

If it is the rubber line I would definitely suggest some ss brake lines. If it is the hardline you should replace that as well. Instead of cutting off the problem you should just replace it. And I do not think the 1g has a prop valve.

I second that. A leak is a leak and should be address accordingly, rather than when it turns into a huge problem. Especially brakes. Good luck!

+2 ESPECIALLY on an AWD car. You might be able to skimp on things if you had a fwd, but def not an AWD. Brakes, tires, suspension should all be even on awd's.

Ok thxs I have a set of ss lines i ordered about a week ago and am still waiting to get them. I will install them once i get them. I have only driven the car around the block bc i dont want it sitting.
