1G Putting water pump pulleys on?

Is there a trick or easy way to put the 2 pulleys on that go onto the water pump in a 1G 2.0? I noticed they have to be put on at the same time cause of lack of room.

Yeah, jack up your engine by the oil pan. Use a block of wood or newspaper to evenly disperse the weight so you don't bend up your pan. You may need to un-bolt the right motor mount to get some more clearance.
 
sorry i didnt explain enough i just replaced the head gasket so im in the stage of putting every thing back on so the motor mount on top is still off. I tried for 20mins or so holding the 2 pulleys together and reaching in the inch of space to line them up and on. I was thinking of mabey a little rtv silicone to hold them together.
