So I got a new clutch, and FINALLY got it on. It is on the pressure plate now and I am now in the process of attempting to get the Transmission back in. Does anyone have some tips? I keep running into the modular clutch pack when I'm trying to put the tranny up. I feel I can get it, if only one of my friends would answer their phones and gave me a hand lifting it from underneath. I have a transmission jack but it needs to be angled in and moved around so I feel I need to lift the tranny. I have all the brackets off the tranny and the only other thing I can do it unbolt the clutch pack, put it on the tranny, then lift the tranny in and line it up and put the clutch pack back on the pressure plate and bolt it on that way. I'd rather not go that route but if there is absolutely no other way I will. Thanks.

if you put the modular clutch on the trans then bolt it to the flex plate after the trans is on the motor you will be saving yourself such a headache. this is the way most people do these 420 clutches.

alright sounds like a plan, it just seems difficult to line up the clutch with the flex plate when its already in the tranny. I'll hopefully enlist the help of a friend to manuver the tranny around with the clutch in it and I hope this works! (The throwout bearing it came with broke in the mail :notgood: so I'm using the one already in, just re-greasing everything and hopefully it works

the clutch should stay centered, and you just bolt the trans up, then you go through all the flex plate bolts and have a friend prevent the engine from spinning, and to help rotate when needed to go to the next bolt.

yeah a large part of that is have a 'friend' who all seem to mysteriously lose phones when I need a small favor like this ROFL oh well I can manage it enough on my own, I took it off myself, so I should be able to get it on (the tranny is pretty light, I can lift and manuver it fairly easily)
