putting head back on Qs

Got my head back from the machine shop from valve job and was wondering if I have to line up the timing marks or dowl pin on the cam shaft sprokets? Or do I just leave it the way I got it back from the machine shop, with the valves closed? Also doesn any one know if theres a diogram of all the vac lines in the engine bay? when removing the head and intake mani I forgot to lable some of the vac lines and forgot where they go.

You always, always, always, always, always bolt a head the block with the Timing gears/cams in the 12 oclock (TDC) position and the crank/block at TDC. Make sure all the marks both in the head and on the block match up to where they should be as if you were doing a timing belt.
