Putting an engine together need some help

Well my 7-bolt walked i just got my self a 6-bolt without pistons, i will be putting in my 2g's.
I have some questions in regards to parts i should use, i will use the car for around 3 months and then sell it since i'm leaving the country, the car will be raced one day a week or so, to the track maybe once a month, but just regular driving most of the time. The car will stay with the current 14b turbo so take that in consideration, no high HP application here.

I am on a budget so i can't upgrade everything.

I am planning to replace rod bearings with new toplines( why not? good enough?)
SHould i upgrade rod bolts to ARP?
Where can i get a set of piston rings online for 2g pistons cheap?, i've only seen them like $80+ is that what they cost ??!!

I plan to put in a new timing belt and eliminate the B/S.

Your best bet would have been to buy a stock complete 6 bolt engine or a 7 bolt engine instead of building anything up.

y rebuild at all if ur only gonna use it for 3 months? just buy an old engine... or don't do it at all and rent a car for 3 months

well i'm getting the engine for $500 so it's cheaper to just put in the pistons and my exhaust mani and go, i want to fix the car so i can get a decent amount of money for it, broken cars don't sell for much.
