Putting engine back together.....

After my 7bolt block went, my friend ripped the engine apart. He took out everything. Anyway i finally got another 7bolt block(yes i know, but money is tight). Anyway thing went from bad to worst, when he had to return to the military. Now my entire car is basically in my garage.

Thing is its not possible for me to take the car to a shop at this point, so i was looking for some help from fellow dsmer. I have some friends who are mechanics but they don't know anyting about dsm or turbo cars. Don't know if anyone around the nyc area want some extra cash and lend me a hand. Or maybe you guys can give some advice on putting her back together, things to look out for etc.

i have a few friends as well that can help you out with your motor, the thing is what exactly needs to be done and how come you can't bring your car to a shop? i'm from queens to so feel free to send message

I believe haynes manual for eclipses has an engine overhaul section, i havent really read that part of it, but all the other sections are pretty thorough and step by step with pictures, best money i spent

the motor is in out of the car. Head, block, etc. I would take the car to a shop but the thing is, there r too many parts for me to carry over there, bolts etc. All these stuff are here. I never expected the car to be left in a half finish state.

hey wassup... i'm from jamaica queens also and my car is at a shop right now. i have a few friends that know DSM stuff, and i don't think it'd be a problem to tow your car to a shop if you really wanted to. like i said my car is at a shop right now and i know the owner, he doesn't charge a lot. let me know, so i can hook you up with the same shop

Yo man. At this point, you should just take it somewhere and get it assembled don't you think? It's starting to get cold and I don't know too many people who are gonna want to be out there working on your car. I would've finished it for you if you had gotten everything for me on time. Anyway, if anyone can help this guy out, that'd be great. Heck, I even labeled most of the bolts that went on his motor. I need to get paid too! :laugh:

hey drew, i am speaking to this guy who said he can assemble the motor. He going to be coming by this week to see whats going on. If everything goes well, he should be here next week to start assembling it.
