I'm pulling the motor for winter to rebuild the head and new turbo, and i'm looking for things that i can get rid of or eliminate in the engine bay, all the unnessisary wirs etc. Any advice?

thanks
Josh

Boycott emissions equipment, get rid of it all, all vacuum lines, charcoal canister, etc. AC Compressor, condenser, lines, compressor brcket, cruise control, ac fan. Those are the biggest pieces of clutter. There are a lot of misc. brackets that can go. Just look around.

as far as emissions go i can get around them, i already removed the vaccume lines wheni first got it, and the ac is deffinatly comming out. So theres no electrical you can remove?

Thnks Josh

you can relocate the battery to the trunk. Helps with weight distribution as well as not having to pull out the battery every other time you work on your car.

Its a little more extreme but you could swap to a manual rack and get rid of your power steering lines. And i heard that there was a bracket that relocated your alternator to where your ac is at on the back of the block.
