I'm looking for some input from those who have twin disc setups on their daily drivers. I just got a great deal on a PTT twin disc with metallic friction discs. Just wondering what kind of life I can expect from it. I don't want to be pulling the tranny in the spring to replace a set of worn discs. I'm hearing mixed reviews from a few diffrent threads, some last some don't. It won't see too much abuse, almost no launching just occasional WOT abuse and DD slipage. The guy I bought it from said PTT told him just drop the clutch and go don't slip or try not to, but I know it's inevitable. Also would you recomend the isuzu slave cylinder or should the 2g slave be fine? going to make a pedal stop aswell.

I liked using an organic disk for daily driver a lot more than the quartermaster twindisk I had in my evo. The quartermaster was great for track duty, but was harsh, noisy, and a bit chattery on engagment for me as a daily driver. I still did drive it daily though.
