Prosport Water temp guage

Hey guys got a Prosport water temp gauge and needed help with install. have couple questions.

Gauge is pluged and work ... light wise.. now I have the sender left to install.

- Can I remove stock sender and put my Prosport there?

- Is it better to remove another sensor m( hole is bigger ) get reducer and put it in there?

- Sensor has 2 wires White and Black.

I know the White goes to the green on my Gauge Harness ....


Is the black just a ground any where on the chasis?

Black is always ground

I believe on 1gs there is an extra hole on your water neck area. But you can just unscrew your stock gauge and screw the prosport one in there. Obviously your stock gauge won't work anymore, but your ecu doesn't need that.
