My Water temp is at about 200 - 210 while cruising (not under boost 5 psi at most)... this is after programming my AEM EMS. Is that water temp normal or am I running hot? I ask because before I removed the base map (start-up map provided by AEM) the car was running at 160-170 tops under cruising). I have a Fluidyne Radiator and no A/C.

Thats what I figured. What could it be? May it be the SBR Race FMIC not letting enough air to the Fluidyne? The wierd part is that it all happened after the prgramming. Sam ething for my Oil pressure reaching 100 at about 4K revs. Before this it would not go over 60.

Neural try keeping what Staytuned is saying in perspective though. I mean he is in Canada while comparing his coolant temps to yours in Puerto Rico. I would ask fellow DSM'ers in your area what they are getting for coolant temps.

When is the last time you replaced the thermostat?

But he also said he is used to cruising at temps a lot lower......so no it's still not normal for him to all of a sudden jump to 200-210. His fans should be running non stop at those temps.

We do get warm temps up here you know 85-90 is not unheard of up here with humidity into the 100% range. :D

I'm thinking I am running to "Lean" maybe??? I was running fine (temp wise) until my tuner started messing with the AEM... before I was running with the Startup Map provide by AEM... Luckilly this is not my daily driver so I won't drive it much until Sat. when the tuner is supposed to finish it. This weekend we ran into 3 broken O-Rings in the injectors... so we could not finish.

Stock beat up radiator, ghetto fmic, cruising at 80mph on old ass thermostat = 200 degrees. I could lower it if I wanted by throwing in a different thermostat.

The AEM is reading 190 degrees after about 2 hours at the dyno... is that OK? Or is that a tad hot?

Should I go by what the AEM ECU is reading or by what the Autometer Guage is reading. They differ by about 10 degrees.

I just noticed that one of my fans is dead... so I think thats whats causing the spike in Temp. Is it normal for the car to overheat if just one fan is working?

The fan on the drivers side is the normal fan which comes on while driving. The passenger side fan comes on when the A/C is turned on.
Actually if you push the A/C button, both fans should turn on, at least that's what happens in my 2g....
