So I haven't done much to her in a couple months because of weather and dealing with the ARC2 people. I ended up getting my money back because the people I was dealing with had no idea what they were doing. I made a deal with Nate at MA Performance and he got me a new arc2 without having to deal with the factory. (see previous journal for details about the arc2 which was shorted out NIB)
Last friday I ordered Stoptech 328 x 28mm front big brake upgrade in black calipers with slotted rotors from my friends over at TC Motorsports in Washington. Those of you that don't know, drilled rotors may look cool but they prematurely crack at the drill holes so Slotted rotors is always a better way to go.
Also got front bearing assemblies since as far as I know the front bearings are stock on my 100k+ car. I should be taking some photos of the suspension bits I have on the car now like the rear diff bushings, rear subframe bushings etc. I didn't take photos before of everything installed because it just didn't look right with the stock brakes
.
Depending on how some things go I will probably update the shocks with Koni yellows with 8 inch springs and see where that gets me. I figured out how I can build a set of koni 28 series race shocks for my car but I am not sure I will want to put that much money into the car since after I run it on the strip/ track days a couple times it will likely be for sale since the project will be completed. So stay tuned for more over the top build madness from yours truely. The rain should be gone in about 2 months and I want to be ready for the race season!
