Coming back from seven surgeries during the start of this build has been pretty insane. Besides that, I moved into a new home with the family and sold project rogue sadly. With this build, I still have my sights on Road Course racing and am taking it a month at a time. As you can see the CTSV big brake setup has been installed with a set of Prius coils from AutoZone. You cannot beat a lifetime warranty on parts that are being beaten up. With this, I swapped my precision 5858 turbo into the equation with positioning for an air-to-water setup for time attack. The 90 AWD trans has been dropped in and transfer case as well with the goal of keeping her around 40 - 46lb/min airflow as that will be an excellent efficient setup for me as I was flowing 53/lb min on my last layout.

Currently, besides the wiring, I am debating on how the cooling system should be set up, as the manifold only allows for one puller and two pushers would have to suffice. With this being an idea, the thought of running a radiator hood vent to help with downforce is another thought on the ever-growing list.
Depending on how 2023 looks racing-wise for me after installing the rear mustache bar, upgraded suspension bushings, and so on; I will switch over to Haltech to implement an adjustable off-throttle antilag to help boost linearity and switch to an adjustable TCS/ABS setup. I also have the motor from project rogue that I would like to push to around 600 - 700hp depending on the competition. Coupling this with small aero changes and increased electrical technology will have the car on track to set some serious times!

So I got around to finally working on the 1g for last month. I was able to replace the lower control arms, end links and sway bar bushings on both sides of the car front axle wise. I also had to get a drivers cv axle as I popped a boot throwing grease EVERYWHERE!

Besides that since fresh paint has really made the car look better on top of finally installing the -10 ptfe that’s been sitting for years. With the updates fuel lines and a tighter suspension up front it’s one step closer to road course.

It’s also worth noting I picked up a cyclone intake which I will help spool up with the stroker faster. I we’ll be swapping to a .63 ar exhaust housed PSR3071 to help spool characteristics. Depending on this going recirculated may have to be the next move before going fresh air als.

Wow, it's almost been three years since my last build date. A lot has changed on the car so let's start it off! The goal for this car remains being a GT inspired track car build. Over the past two weeks I have gotten the car to run on the Link ECU and have setup CAN based wideband monitoring. The car needs the base ignition timing to be re done but this the car moves and drives under its own power.

Current tasks -

I am working on removing my Davies craig controller and controlling my EWP using the link ECU as well as the oil cooler and radiator fans. I need to run my clutch switch to the ECU as well to enable flat foot shifting.

Future plans -

I am looking into doing DBW to remove the factory cruise control cable as well as gaining features like cruise control, rotational idle, put limiting, and creating a trailer power mode for loading and unloading the car.

Adding a JMF fuel cell, and other carbon and 3d printed parts.

I will be diving into the link ECU trying to learn what it can truly do and picking up where others have left off on the forums.
