Problems with a new rebuilt 4g63 HELP!!

I rebuilt my 4g63 and when the engine was put back in the car now the car works uneven, it stutters. The mounts are new, the mechanic said it was the coil pack, so I bought new coil packs, spark plugs and spark plug wires and nothing. The car still dosent work right.. It cannot be the engine as it is pratically new, I'm guessing its some kind of sensor that might not be working right, I need help the car has 2000 miles on it and it still has the problem, if this happened to any of you guys or you guys or know what it might be I would be very thankfull.

Just take it to a good mechanic. You will be miles ahead by doing so.

Your symptoms seem a little vague but first of all, do you have a CEL? If not, your engine might not be balanced or timed correctly.

Id imagine a mechanic half assing your install and not even tightening up your IC piping couplers.

Search Boost Leak Test. Perform it. You may be happy with what you find/fix.

Ok I got two questions for you. What year eclipse/talon was the engine pulled from and what year is your car? Also try switching the spark plug wires....switch 1-2 and 3-4 and see what happens with that. If it runs correct with the wires switched then I would say it is the cas.

Make sure the transistor plug is plugged all the way in. I had a similar problem a while back.

you say its pratilly new.... I would still say run a compression test and a leak down test.

I'm going to check the timing and run a boost leak test.

Did you put the trigger plate on backwards?
