The one line bolt is rounded. It looks like the previous owner attempted a fuel pump install and failed. We are using a 14mm line wrench and it'll grab till we apply pressure then it just wants to round off the bolt.... Is there any alternative method on breaking the line bolts loose????

www.vfaq.com has some advice on changing the pump. I believe there is a fitting foeward in the line that is probably umolested. You may have to then replace that section of line. MArk

I haven't read the vfaq since I did my pump back in March. I will see if I can find the one I used. mark

I did this through the front fitting right in front of the gas tank. Jack up the car and you will see. That fitting doesn't seem to rust like the one on top of the fuel pump. just position two wrenches on the fitting so you squeeze them together, the fitting should pop right open. Good luck.
