I just installed a new act 2600 clutch and to make it shift gears i have to put the clutch down to the floor as hard as i can. It dosent catch till its right on the floor and the car will move without pulling the clutch out. Any ideas what's goin on?

if you changed your clutch master and didn't bench bleed it this may also cause air in the system. you clutch is not disengaging, causing a hard shift condition. sticky clutch could be caused by incorrect pedal free height, your problem probably lies here. if not your clutch slave my be to blame. but i doubt it if you clutch worked fine before the install. also your release bering (throwout) my be sticking on the imput shaft. did it slide freely when you installed it? try those and be sure to post your solution if you find one.

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I have the same thing going on with my 92 Talon TSI AWD. I did the clutch adjustment and mine still does it. Mine is also hard to get into 1st because of this.
