So here it goes, I been a ghost for a while until I recently bought my 91 Eagle Talon. First thing I wanted was ECMLink V3, I bought a speed density package off of Vassil (bulfabs 800hp 1g). Just theoretically speaking on speed density if I install the sensors in the same exact spot would I have to change the VE tables again? I was pretty sure someone else would have tried doing this before but I guess not.

Also how would I go about converting all the maps back to stock?

No you cannot use his setup as every car is set up differently and runs different, so start from scratch with your car and your mods and go from there,

As for the stock settings you can go to ECMTuning's website and pull them from there or in the ECU there is a place to.reset to stock, now I'm pretty new to ECMLink myself but I do know that from all the reading I've done

So even though its the same sensors and same VE tables, I'll still have to redo it because it will read air differently? I just don't get it because with ECUFlash me and another forum member used the same VE tables for our 3 bar GM MAP sensor and everything (AFR) were right on.

I just figured I could flash everything stock on ECMLink, save the SD VE tables, hook the sensors and go from there

Judging by your profile, your car isn't pushing anywhere near 800hp, and your setup has nothing in common with Vassil's car. There's absolutely no way you could use his VE table.

Every tune is vehicle specific, and the VE tables are one of the most important aspects of a SD tune. There are no "stock" SD VE tables, because there was never a stock DSM running on SD.

SD isn't one of those things that is plug and play. With a lot of research, and some help from the ECMtuning forums, you might be able to get your car to run decent on your own, but I wouldn't chance it. My advice would be convert back to a MAF until you can get SD sorted out, or find someone to tune the car for you. The sensor location doesn't mean anything aside from physically mounting a sensor. If you throw all the sensors on, and run the car with Vassil's tune, your car will run like absolute shit guaranteed. It's likely you will probably even cause damage, or really screw something up.

To my knowledge, you just can't revert the A/F tables back to stock within ECMlink. You need to go download the applicable stock table, and copy it into your working table. Don't be confused though, these are MAF based A/F tables, not SD.

Convert your car back to a MAF. Go to the ECMlink website, download the DSM-2G-stock.eda. Copy the table into your table, and start fresh. Figure out the SD piece, and switch over when you have the help or knowledge.
