took my tranny out thought i had a bad clutch put it in brand new anyways it looks like the pressure plate was hitting the inside of the trans case anyone have this prob or know why it would happen any suggestions pics later tonight thanks

You have an NT 90 correct? You can't install the larger turbo clutch in the small NT trans bell housing. You have to get the NT clutch for it.

im running turbo clutch tranny and flywheel sorry havent updated my profile in ahwile so im havin the problem with the turbo setup

Also found a bolt missing out of the trans that connects the trans to the block and another one backed out 1/4 of a inch and the tranny mount was obliterated is it possible that the tranny backed out enough that the it hung down and touched the pressure plate? or crank walk?

"Crankwalk" AKA, excessive crankshaft endplay can get as much as 25 thousandths.
Perhaps it would be enough to cause the wear in your photos. So measure the amount of endplay in the crankshaft already!! Good luck.

i checked for crank walk on the motor and everything was within specs so its not crank walk. i cant seem to find the correct plate that goes between the motor and trans i thought anything would do i guess not? anyway does anyone have any information on this transmission KF5M332SPZS Ive searched on here and not found much any help would be appreciated! also does anyone know a good place to pick up a plate? tried one for a awd but its too small

so have we all come to a conclusion that not running the starter plate would cause this damage any other ideas? anyone runing around without a starter plate?

I've never seen anyone say that it was extremely important to put the starter plate back in, but I can't be sure. But the starter is on the top of the tranny, and it's grinding on the bottom, so I wouldn't think that's it, but honestly I don't know what else it could be.

just got my starter plate in the mail today but now im waiting on a new clutch well see what happens

The plate fits all the way around the block where the tranny bolts up. Like a spacer if you will.

turns out the problem was a series of unfortunate events LOL. first the main problem there were no dowel pin on the bottom two holes of the trans. now follow me on this the bolts on the trans backed out enough to break the trans mount witch let the trans hang low on the mount side now the bolts ar backed out and the ass end of the tranny starts hanging low witch caused binding issues with the clutch and let the bottom of the bell housing hit the pressure plate thus causing all my problem.
in the end the dowel pins are very important never use just one or none LOL thanks for the help fellas
