Power windows?

So the other night I am out with some friends and I unlatch the top and hit the button to put it down. All the windows go down except my drivers front window. It went about half way down and is stuck. The window itself has 2 inches of play up or down. The motor makes no effort to raise or lower glass. It makes a click/pop noise when you push the button down, but thats it. My father says the motor is fried. I went checked on the part and its round 150 w/ core charge. I was curious to see if there were others with this problem with quick cheaper fix maybe? It is suppose to rain tomorrow and the next day here so as long as I can get it up the rest of the way I will be happy until I can get it fixed. ne help is great. thanx

If the motor isn't working to move the window it's your motor. Goto a junk yard and buy a used motor off of a wrecked one. When your replace it make sure all the clips on the window are secured since you'll have the door off anyway. It'll save you from having to take the door off again later on. If you have to replace the clips do it, it's fairly cheap and they go out frequently. But, you should be able to just pull the window up.
