So mine is leaking. I'm wondering what could I swap to replace the one I have. I don't want to go reman...preferably something new or different. Plus I have looked at the pages for people having fitment issues, but currently I can't find them..phone keeps messin up. Any help would be grateful.

If you wanted another stock one, I have one off of a 1995 GS-T sitting in my garage. Just pay shipping and it's yours, if you want it. As far as other power steering pumps fitting, I have honestly never seen one. However, maybe one off of a Galant or something?

You can basically use a 1g or 2g steering pump. They both fit and do the same job, but the 1g pump is a little different inside. You can also get a rebuild kit that replaces all the o-rings and seals. I did that a few years ago and had good success. But, if you can find a 7g Galant (94-98) with a 4g64, you could probably use that pump as well.

I highly recommend a rebuild kit. the power steering pumps on these are notorious for leaking, being they are right above the alternator i,ve had to replace the alternator in the past. After buying 2 power steering pumps, which all leaked, i bought a rebuild kit and haven't had an issue for a long time. IMO i would rebuild instead of replacing, super easy, cheap, and solves the issue.

Thanks. Next issue I am having is the power steering belt acts like it's too big. I found the post about it but can't find it now. So which direction should I go...small belt or spacers?

Smaller belt. Don't complicate things.
