Powder Coating, how much do I need?

I'm not pretending to be an anodizing master, ive never done it, but i do know ETS HAS DONE IT. And it looked good.

Then don't feed others reading false information.

ETS does it to billet aluminum. I've sent some of my stuff off to them and yes it looks great but they sure don't do it to cast aluminum.

They have pix of compressor covers that are red anodized. I can't find the pic.

I've seen it and it is anodized red powder coat.

Surely, you're going to tell me that I anodized these too:

Is this really necessary? Can you two go dick measure somewhere else and let's get back to what the OP asked?

Was your comment?

The OP got his answer. 1-2lbs

There was no dick measuring contest here. But take it as you wish. I simply was showing that his statements were completely incorrect so that others don't take what he said for facts. Not sure when arguments/debates became the same as dick measuring contests when facts are involved.

I had to join evoM to get this.

If it's not anodized my bad but it damn well looks it and the guy said it was anodized.

I dunno the ETS looks different than yours. The guys pic looks similar. I'd have to ask ets if it was anodized or not cause they ARE claiming it is.

Anyway I'll stop there since i found the pic i was referring to in the beginning.

It has to do with lighting and cameras, yes it looks a bit different but I can assure you, it is the same exact color powder coat.

Yes I did get my answer, all of of the powder is sitting here beside me. They sent me two ibs of clear for some reason but hey the more the merrier LOL. I'm sure I'll find more stuff to powder coat.
