possible wastegate problem

ok so i had a problem a couple days ago that my car wouldn't boost past 7psi and i found out that i was missing a valve seat. Now m car boosts good but it seems to not want to go past 20psi. I have a tial 44mm dumped with a 1.1 bar spring. my MBC is open all the way but im at my friends house and i dont have a wrench. ill turn it up tom. but shouldnt it be boosting higher than this with that spring???? let me know what u guys think

I wouldn't worry about it. You've got the mbc all the way out (spring pressure/lowest boost) so just get a wrench and start working toward you boost level you want and forget about it. That's what the boost controller is there for. I wouldn't worry too much about the exact spring pressure rating being right on. As long as you can raise it with the mbc, who cares? Good luck though. You should be fine

1.1bar is almost 16psi, if your getting 20psi either MBC is adding a little or your boost creaping.

So it is.... Sorry, I was too lazy to think about what 1.1bar was and I just assumed it was higher than that. Thanks for keeping us in line Steve
