So ive been driving my car for a little over 5k miles now, and ive come to realize there might be something wrong with my fuel pump, gas gauge, or something in that general vicinity of getting fuel to the engine... wow that was vague... anyways... :aha:

When my gauge gets to a quarter left of gas, ive come to realize there is no more then 2 gallons left in the tank.

When stopped, and applying the gas to the car, its VERY sluggish, like its fighting to not stall, but when its over the quarter mark, it accelerates fine

When driving, pickup is amazing like it should be, so ive come to think its the initial delivery of the fuel which is having problems.

Was curious as to what this might be as well as what would be a good fix.

Thanks for the help

Did you change the fuel filter? There might be something obstructing the fuel strainer on the fuel pump its self.

My mother Buick did this and the strainer was clogged from age.

never thought of that, might give it a shot... Will prob replace it with a metal filter since i plan on switching to e85
