So short story long,

Tried contacting Thomas at ecmtuning, however, I'm sure he's busy up to his eyeballs, LOL...

Its been a lonnnggg time since I've been on the forums, but just as long since I've had time to work on the talon.

Since getting the car running I've had a knock sensor malfunction that I can't find the root cause anywhere..

I had the ecu converted in 2009 which ended up being a refurbished ecu from ecmtuning due to mine just being to far gone. After doing some research on the knock sensor issue in good ole 2016 I came across the only article, thread, on the internet period about a issue when they converted the ecu for a 90's DSM related to the knock sensor that the guy posted that supposedly was sent out back in 2009. The article was copy and pasted by another customer of ecmtuning, but nothing on the internet directly posted by ecmtuning themselves.

This is the only statement I found that someone else posted during that 2009 time frame

If you ordered a 1990 EPROM ECU from us since December 2008 or you sent us a 1990 non-EPROM ECU for the EPROM conversion, please be aware that we have identified a compatibility issue in these ECUs related to the knock sensor circuitry. If you have one of these ECUs and are currently getting a knock sensor error, please contact us offline to arrange for a free fix.

I've already sent out e-mail to everyone I could find in our order database. But just in case I missed some, I wanted to post it here too.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience,

Thomas Dorris
