Hello,

I've been looking at multiple car forums, evos, gsx, supra (pretty much boosted vehicles)etc. It seems like all of the cars mentioned have had problems with aftermarket BOV's. Me and my buddy was playing around with his supra. He mentioned to me the mods and stuff when low and behold, two BOV's. The stock one and one mounted on the passenger side FMIC piping. I questioned him about that and he told me that it solved his stalling problem. I'm still quite new to the dsm's but couldn't you do the same to solve the stalling problem?

what stalling problem are you talking about? The one you get from venting? Why not just recirculate?

For the love of God people, SEARCH. The "Stalling" problem can be fixed by either
A: Recirculate like you should
or
B: Use a GM MAF-T in a blowthrough setup.

sounds like he means compressor surge and stall. a common problem with cars with large turbos and small bov's that arent able to vent enough air fast enough during a shift, so they put two of them on, one set soft for daily driving to help against surge, and the other at a harder setting for race to help with compressor stall.

We do DSMs, not Supras. Mostly because we can't afford Supras, and can hardly abide those stuck-up stickybeaks who can.

The BOV workings haven't been a mystery for more than a decade.
