possible solution to fuel fitting problem

my old fuel fitting on my fuel pump sendin unti was stuck good and it broke when i tried to remove it. ive been looking for a way to fix it and i came across this. i was wondering if i had a walbro 190 could i do this as a fix? any help would be awsome

I think you should have followed the suggestion on the vfaq to remove the fitting in front of the tank instead. :) I can not tell for sure from the picture if it will work or not but it looks pretty messy. I suggest hunting down a replacement assembly from boneyards, call Gary at Mitsugraveyard.com and see if he has extras lying around. If the line isn't too rusty, do a search on compression fittings on summitracing and see what you come up with.
