Porting

I am debating whether to fork over $75 for a port job on my E3 16g or to try to explain what i want done to a guy at a metal Fab place, i know he probably has the tools. How hard is it to Port the 16g? i looked up the guide and doesn't seem to complicated to require professional work but i just wanted some insight from other users.

Free up a day, buy yourself a nice pair of safety glasses and buy yourself these:

The flame tips work best.. So you could just go on e bay and buy the carbide flame tips. You can find them pretty big there too.

well i can have a guy at the metal fab shop do it for like $10-$20. How long would it take on air tools?

20 bucks is a steal. Just have him deal with it unless you like getting dirty and inhaling metal shavings.

I ported my t25 for fun and it took forever with a die grinder but its pretty easy it just takes time
