Hey guys, just put on full 3" exhaust. I'm spiking to 20psi. So from what i have read I need to port my o2 housing? I've backed my mbc out all the way. Never a problem with stock exhaust. Thanks. Brian

Can I get away with just the ported o2? I bought a ported evo o2 housing. The Turbo inlet exhaust side right? What the manifold bolts onto..? I would rather not port the turbo inlet becuase I saw cracks on the inside.

Yes, you do have to port your turbo exhaust housing (the one that connects to the manifold), and the o2 housing in order to cure boost creep. You might want to port the manifold as well.

If you don't want to port these, there is an alternative solution and that's to get an o2 housing with a dump tube. People have been very pleased with these and they claim that they eliminate the creep.

If you don't or can't do the porting yourself you can simply send your housing to a vendor like Slowboyracing and they'll port it for you. But they'll charge you of course.

Or you can get a Bullseye housing if you don't mind paying "a little" more.

I believe porting so the wastegate can open fully is the most important part. That should make a big difference.

This makes sense to me... I also have a new problem, I did plugs, plug wires, pcv valve. I use to beable to drive at half throtle and be ok, now I can hear the turbo spool really really loud. and running 10lbs. I know it's not a boost leak. I tried to replace vac lines with a kit from 3A racing. POS!!! They sucked shut and also melted. So maybe I fixed a leak when I put back the stock ones on. The pcv was super clogged. Got alot of blow by. I also bought a catch can from dsmparts. My god the thing is HUGE. I hope I dont ever need to empty it. Looks like it holds a quart.

Anyway, I just saw the removel for the turbine housing. Looks super easy. But do I really need to remove the manifold? Whats supporting my compressor when I unbolt my DP and Mani? I'm still worried about the cracks I saw in Turbine inlet. My "GT DSM High Flow Manifold" is 7 cm so is my turbo inlet.
"16Gs normally have a 7cm turbine housing, while 14Bs have a 6cm housing." And I still need to port?
I haven't stayed up on the rules but this is the o2 housing I bought http://dsmparts.com/customer/product.php?productid=88&cat=&page=
I was just gonna take the gasket and trace it on the flapper side then port.

I will be taking photos of all this saturday if anyone is interested in lookin.
Sorry my questions are so out of wack.
Thanks guys.
