I have never ported before therefore, I need to find a honest and good shop to perform the Wastegate Flapper mod on my B16G and port my stock 02 Housing. I have found a ceramic coating shop near me, but he has not returned any of my phone calls. So now I will need both! All help would be aprreciated!

I know that up here in alaska there are a few people that really know what they're doing with their vehicles but in the continental u.s. there should be tons of people. Don't you know anybody else who works on vehicles and has some tools. Have someone lend you some tools and just fallow the porting threds. It's your car..... do things to your satisfaction. I just recently started porting my o2 housing and I then realized how addicting and easy porting is and I've ported everything on my car now. For the price you'de pay a shop to do some work you could buy your own tools and gain some knowledge. Then you could charge your friends and buy some mods with that $$$:sneaky:

Not sure where you can send your turbo in NY, but slowboyracing.com seems to have some fair prices on porting.

Also, I very recently had my valve cover powder coated at Sumax for about $130. Pics are in my gallery. I'm not sure if they do ceramic coating or not, but it's worth a try. They're a VERY respectable shop, they used to do ALL of O.C.C. chopper frames and misc. parts! Check 'em out! :thumb:

$130 for a valve cover seems very expensive. I got my valve cover, intake manifold, fuel rail and tb elbow all done for $80 total. Look up TRG Coating. They do powder coating and have heard good things. I did not get mine there but I will future parts. I believe they are around 50 or so for a valve cover.
As for ceramic coating just send it in to one of the reputable dsm shops that offer that surface. Check out Jet Hot coating:

Seems to be a good place.

I am tempted to port the 02 Housing...But porting my Wastegate flapper is whole differnt story! I know there is SBR but would like something closer, prefer to drive rather then ship. I think I might just get my DP coated and re-install everything. Once I go bigger on the Turbo, I will start dmping from the 02 housing with a tubular manifold. In which all will be coated. I don't know, just still up in thought.

I was in Autozone in the paint section and came across Pupli Color High Temp Ceramic Enhgine Paint. Is it even worth it? If so How many coats of it to make it worth while?
