Ok guys here it is. It seems like just lately my car has started this or I've noticed it. First off my car is an auto, just to throw that out there and Im running 12 psi on an aftermarket garrett. Anyways when I mash it and the revs get around 3500-4000k my boost gauge goes up to 12 and it starts accellerating decent the car begins to stutter, it will pull then quit pull then quit. It seems like it does this all the way up to 6800-7000 whenever it shifts. From reading here on the forums it seems it could be a few simple things. Would it be my spark plugs/wires or could it be a boost leak? Or maybe even both? I dont really hear a whistling sound that would be air escaping being boost leak but idk... :hmm:

This info might not be needed but this will give you an idea of how my car is running compared to maybe how it should be running. Long story short this saturday 2 cars got behind me one being a volkswagon golf gti vr6 and a honda civic si. By the time I mashed it and the boost kicked in the gti went around me and pulled on me hard. The civic would pull beside me and his front bumper would be at about my door and he couldnt pass but it would stay pretty even. Now granted my car is an auto and both of those cars were standards. I followed the golf until he pulled off at his house and he said his only mods were exhaust/intake etc little stuff and it was a standard. So please help me to get my car running how it should

First of all dont talk about street racing,Second do a blt, third make sure your plugs are gapped properly.Try making the gap a little closer.

Sorry, I was just trying to explain the performance of my car in another way than just saying its doing this or that. But thanks for the info.

Deerhunter I havent had the car long so the only thing I've done so far is fresh oil and filter. But like all you guys said I'll check the sparkplugs and most likely get some new ngks that are gapped properly along with maybe some new wires for the hey of it. I'll also check out the link for the blt set up and see if thats my problem. I appreciate the help guys, I'll let you know what I find out.
